Each player will be required to turn in his CYF issued equipment after his team's last game (Monday or Tuesday). Equipment must be turned in at this time!! Players should bring a change of clothes for after the game.

(The only exceptions to this will be 6th graders who have signed up and returned their commitment sheets to play the 6th grade travel season).



Save the Date - Wednesday, October 27th

As part of our last fundraiser (and a chance for the kids to just have fun) we have reserved space at Buffalo Wild Wings from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday October 27th. We will have either a slide show of pictures or video of the kids from this season playing on the big screens to watch. 15% of all sales from this event will go CYF as a fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $500.00 so bring your family and big appetite! Since the Saints won the Colts fundraiser competition, the players from the Saints will eat for free!

Registration Information

Early registration went extremely well as we registered 75 athletes for our inaugural season! Following will be some important upcoming dates for CYF. In addition to these dates, please remember that in order to practice, your child MUST have a physical on file with CYF. You can turn in the physical form at the skills evaluation or any time before the first practice. Also, I would like to remind you that registration is still open. We will be taking new registrations at the skills evaluations on August 2nd and 3rd as well as at CCSC school registration on August 9th. If you know anyone who is interested in playing, but has not yet registered please share this information with him. Lastly, if you would like to help a student in need participate in CYF, we have set up a scholarship fund. For $50, you can sponsor a player who cannot afford the registration fee, or you can donate any amount to the scholarship fund. If you are interested in making a donation, please make your check to CHS (all of our money is run through the high school books) and mail it to the address below. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Kick Off - CYF!

Crawfordsville Youth Football proudly presents Tackle Football!

We are in the kick off phase of the Crawfordsville Athenian Youth Football League. This website is a work-in-progress that will be a safe source for information related to the newly formed youth football league.

WHO: All interested Crawfordsville students who will be in grades 3-6 during the 2010-2011 school year

WHAT: Tackle football played in two leagues: 3rd/4th grades and 5th/6th grades

WHEN: Playing season from August to October 2010

WHERE: Practices and games to be played at Hoover Field, previous home to some of the all-time great Athenian Teams (see Calendar Tab for key dates and locations)

Early Registration: June 15, 16, 17 at Fishero Park (CYB Baseball Fields) 6:00 - 8:00 PM

WHY: To learn football fundamentals, to compete in a safe environment, and to HAVE FUN!

COST:
Early Registration: $50, 2 Siblings $90, Family Maximum (Siblings) $125
Late Registration: $60, 2 Siblings $100, Family Maximum (Siblings) $140

NOTE: There will be two informational PARENT meetings held on Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8. Parents only need to attend one of the meetings. The meetings will be held in the Crawfordsville High School Auditorium and will begin at 7:00 PM. Information about the league will be distributed and questions answered at these meetings.
